It was my pleasure to represent the Group of Eight at the Brampton Quilters Guild May meeting. I hosted along with fellow members, Judy Makinson & Jan Stapleton.We had a great time. Lots of laughs. I was concerned with not being fully prepared. I tend to worry about these types of things so better to only worry the day of rather than 2 full weeks of no sleep. I haven't been in front of a group that size in over eight years. So it was a little nerve racking for me. I dragged on a little long but to be honest, I really lost track of time. Hopefully this will be the beginning of many more engagements for the Group of Eight. It really is an inspiring group. Thank you Jan for taking the pictures. Too bad we didn't get one of you. We'll make sure to correct that next time my friend.
Remaining members we not able to attend due to being in the Quilting Arts Festival in St. Jacobs.
